Relationship: This position reports directly to the General Manager
Specific Responsibilities:
The Head/MSSD will serve as an integral member of the Senior Management Team, assisting in the development and implementation of the Agency's export development programmes.
Duties:
- Overall Management of the Market Support Services Department:
- Identify, develop and direct the implementation of export development activities with associated cost budgets and revenue;
- Manage and control departmental expenditure within agreed budgets;
- Ensure that activities meet and integrate with organizational requirements for quality management;
Academic Requirements & Experience:
The Head/MSSD will be a dynamic, forward thinking marketing professional with an exceptional work record in export development and promotional activities. The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications:
- Post Graduate degree in Marketing, an MBA or other business related discipline:
- Five years experience in a managerial or supervisory position in an export development institution or in an institution that concentrates on business development activities;
- Rigorous analytical skills and an ability to creatively position the work of the department;
- Knowledge of computer applications and operation would be an advantage;
