United Kingdom

The United Kingdom market favors more of Dominica's Dasheen, Coconuts, Plantain, avocadoes, Mangoes and Ginger. This market has great potential for Dominica's exotic basket of products and also supports Dominica's move towards producing safer foods for consumption.

Canada

Access to the Canadian market has in recent times been affected by inconvenient air transportation but DEXIA continues to explore other opportunities to export top quality Dominican produce to this important market.

Caribbean Region

The Caribbean region is Dominica's most lucrative markets where almost every commodity can be sold. Small traders called "hucksters" make weekly voyages to countries such as Guadeloupe, Martinique, Sint Maarten/St Martin, Anguilla, Antigua and St Thomas to name a few.

These traders by interfacing openly with both retailers and wholesalers are able to promote Dominican fresh produce in various forms.
