Contract Title: MICRO, SMALL & MEDIUM ENTERPRISES (MSMEs) WEBSITE DEVELOPMENT

The Business Gateway an EU funded programme with DEXIA as the beneficiary together with its partners, WHITCO Development Institute, the Dominica Bureau of Standards and the Dominica Huckster Association intends to award a service contract to:

  • To develop/build and operationalize Eleven (11) dynamic Content Management System (CMS) websites for selected clients under the Business Gateway Programme falling under the Manufacturing, Services and Agricultural Export sectors,
  • To setup Eleven (11) individual accounts for each client with GoDaddy.com where their domain names and hosting packages will be utilized,
  • To optimize the Eleven (11) selected clients’ websites through Search Engine Optimization (SEO) programming techniques.
  • This will be done in The Commonwealth of Dominica with financial assistance from the The Business Gateway Programme of the European Communities/EDF. The tender dossier is available for inspection at the office of the Business Gateway C/o DEXIA, Dame Eugenia Charles Boulevard, Bayfront, Roseau, Commonwealth of Dominica.


The following are the expected results to be achieved by this consultancy:
  • At least Eleven (11) content management websites developed in Joomla! and operationalized,
  • At least Eleven (11) websites optimized using Search Engine Optimization programming techniques.
  • At least two (2) staff members of each client firm trained to be able fully utilize the features of their websites without the need for further web development training.
